Kathmandu, Nepal - The resounding message of "Women's Participation in Art" echoed through the air as singer Sajja Chaulagain successfully scaled the Jugal-5 Himal, reaching an elevation of 5,922 meters. Accompanied by a team of fellow climbers, she arrived in Chuchuro, an achievement that coincided with the auspicious occasion of Vijaya Dashami.
Atop the Chuchuro summit, Sajja proudly unfurled the national flag, alongside a banner that bore the slogan "Women in Art." Her climb up the Himalayan heights was not just a personal accomplishment but a statement about the necessity of increasing women's involvement in the world of art.
"Art is not a privilege; it's a right. It's a fundamental aspect of being human. Through 'Women in Art,' I represent all women, and I'm immensely delighted that we need to boost women's participation," Sajja wrote.
In her written message, she emphasized her dream of encouraging and representing women. "Being a woman, I have always aspired to inspire other women, and I've seen this opportunity as a way to make a difference. This ascent is for all women, and I am grateful."
