Suryachaur Nature Retreat: New Scenic Getaway Opens Near Kathmandu

Suryachaur Nature Retreat Pvt. Ltd. has inaugurated a new tourist destination, Suryachaur Nature Retreat, in Suryachaur, Nuwakot, just 13 kilometers from Samakhushi, Kathmandu. The retreat offers a serene environment and stunning views of the Himalayas, making it an ideal choice for visitors seeking peace away from the city's bustle.

The retreat, targeting nature enthusiasts, features 10 spacious rooms and 4 luxury safari tents, accommodating up to 40 guests per night. Each room can house up to 5 people. The location is accessible by cycling, hiking, or vehicles, and is just 1.5 kilometers from Gurjebhanjyang. It also offers opportunities for village tours.

The retreat is positioned as a perfect spot for family gatherings, friends' get-togethers, and other excursions, providing panoramic views of the Himalayan range and the tranquility of nature.

This project, costing approximately NPR 300 million, spans 27 ropanis (about 3.5 hectares) of land. Currently, the facility includes a structure built on 6 ropanis with an investment of NPR 60 million. Upon completion, it will expand to 65 rooms. Additionally, the company plans to introduce paragliding from the site.

A notable feature of the retreat is its large giant swing, offering a thrilling experience with vistas of the Kathmandu Valley and the Himalayas.

The retreat offers various service packages:

  • Bed and breakfast at NPR 5,000 per room per night.
  • Dinner and breakfast at NPR 3,500 per person.
  • Glamping, including dinner and breakfast, at NPR 2,500 per person, suitable for up to 4 people.
